fun2travel Posted April 23, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 23, 2004 Wonder if anyone can clarify a few things for me. Are ladies able to get a fill-in for acrylic nails on board, if so, how much? Are capri pants acceptable for casual dinner? Lastly, is there a way to download digital pictures to disk on board, or should I buy an extra card for camera? Thanks so much for any input 5/21 Celebrity Millennium Mediterranean
superjerryw Posted April 23, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 23, 2004 I don't think there is a way to download your photos to a disk. The photoshop on the ship can probably burn them to a CD for about $15. SeaGal Posted April 23, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 23, 2004 I can answer your last question regarding digital pictures. This month on the Infinity the computer lab was open for guests to use the computers whenever there wasn't a class going on. Every guest has a signon to the ship's computer network with a private password you create. This creates a private directory where you can download your pictures. At the end of the week there was a $15 fee to transfer your pictures to a CD. 4/1/05 Summit 10-day
Gem Lover Posted April 23, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 23, 2004 They do offer a fill for acryllic nails, which costs $35. They do it by hand without the benefit of a drill. If you are lucky it may last the entire week, but they certainly are not as good as the land based nail shops. I had to have my done because of snow storm back in December closed the slaon I went to. I was very disappointed and would only do it again in an emergency. L.A. Posted April 23, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 23, 2004 I would not recommend the nail work on board either....my friend had her nails done on a 2002 cruise.....the nail polish was chipping off within a day...the price is very expensive as well....best to squeeze it in at home before the cruise...i had mine done today as i sail on Monday...
