Cabin Categories?

This is probably a dumb question, but what do the cabin categories mean? I know IS = inside, OV = ocean view, etc...but what about 6B, or 4E?

I think they mainly have to do with location of the ship--and of course the better locations are higher priced...

CAT 6 and 4 are oceanview and insides.. the letters are for the decks.. the higher the letter the higher the deck the higher the price... CAT 8 are usually balcony.. OS is a suite
