Pre-cruise stay at Diamond Palace in SJ

Hi Guys......... Has anyone stayed at this hotel? I've been to San Juan before and was able to get the Hilton off Priceline last year. This year was no such luck, I had to settle for this one. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

When are staying there? I waited for a Priceline deal on 3/26/05 and never got one, then checked http://www.Hilton.com and they have rooms at the Caribe Hilton for $150.

Hi DocJim,

 

Thank you for the information on the hotel. I really want to see if I can cancel my reservation. I would rather pay more money and have a nice vacation with my family. I'll be on the Golden on 4/24/05 I guess I'll check again on Priceline and see if I get lucky. Do you have any other ideas? I did check Hilton.com and the cheapest price was $255.00 per night.

Be patient, you still have a lot of time. Use http://www.BiddingforTravel.com to see what others have won using Priceline. Hilton is not the best property in town either, I just like it because it is the closest hotel to the Golden. Hilton has a habit of dropping their room prices as time gets closer, you can see that if you change around your dates on using their site. Book a cancelable backup hotel, wait out a deal and you'll win!
