GumbyKG75 Posted March 12, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2005 Hello! How strcitly observed is one's assigned boarding time (which is provided in along with the tickets)? We received a later boarding time, but plan on arriving mid-to-early afternoon. With other lines this has never been a problem, but will we be treated differently because we are in an inside cabin? Thanks for your help! P.S. Any suggestions for what time to arrive at the NYPST would be appreciated.
glgolfer Posted March 12, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2005 Didn't even look at or ask about our boarding time in the docs of 1400 when we were checking in at 1115 in Ft Lauderdale in January.
copperpenny Posted March 12, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2005 We were on the 2/26 sailing and had a 3:00 boarding time. They never looked at the time. We were on the ship by 1:00. I had bought the cruise one week before sailing. Have a great trip. She is a beautiful ship!!
bfoot34 Posted March 13, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2005 We got to the ship at 10:30 a.m. They started a line. They didn't start boarding until 11a.m.. No one, no one ever checked anyone's boarding time. When you get to the dock just check in. By the way, the ship is fantastic. A five star experience in every way. Best cruise in 11 cruises we have been on over the past 15 years.
GumbyKG75 Posted March 14, 2005 Author #5 Share Posted March 14, 2005 Thank you all for your helpful insight. Sounds like we won't have a problem if we show up a bit early (knock on wood!). Thanks again.
