Scrapbooking in Alaska

I will be cruising to Alaska in July. Can anyone tell me if scrapbooking supplies can be bought in port? Thanks

Tongass Trading across the street from the dock and the office supply store right across from the library in Ketchikan. Those are the two in Ketchikan I'm most familiar with.

The Juneau Shirt Company in Juneau, and the Skagway Shirt Company in Skagway have a decent selection of die-cuts, albums, papers, etc.

I have bought a ton of Alaska stuff from there already and I do not go until July.

I too would second scrap your trip. no point wasting time shopping for scrapbook supplies that they will send right to your house for you so that you can spend your time in Alaska doing "Alaska"! I saw very few items in Alaska that I could not order thru their website. It is a fantastic place to order all your travel stuff.

Thanks for the info. I have purchased scrapbooking items in the past from both of those sites.....they are fantastic.

If I am only ordering a few things, for only one country or State, like Alaska it is too expensive for me to buy through these website, the shipping to Canada is more expensive than the merchandise I am buying. I think I will keep an eye out for a few scrapbooking items when I am in Alaska. Thanks for all the info.

I don't scrapbook .... but DW does. The obvious, Michaeal's in Anchorage, and she even picked up some cut dyes in the True Value Hardware store on Broadway in Skagway.

I picked up book markers from each port. They are very inexpensive and very colorful and they have the town on - such as Skagway. They really added to the pages.
