Yes, when you get out to the area where you pick up your luggage the taxis are all the way to the left. I took a taxi home to Montclair a couple weeks ago when I got off of the Explorer.

You really want to look at booking a car service like Black Executive (NJ based) or Dial 7 (NY based). If you get off the ship and wing it, the cabs can charge you whatever to take you from NJ to NY.

 

Have you considered just parking at Bayonne for $95? For a 5 day cruise this can be very convenient and cost effective. Where are you coming from in Brooklyn?
