CCL Barrier Reef Snorkel with Beach Break

Has anyone done this Excursion. If I choose to book with carnival I want to make sure the catamaran picks us up at the ship. If we have to tender to port then I would book independently. Is this Bannister Island that they go to after snorkling? Thanks for any help on this tour :-)
