madaamt Posted April 23, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 23, 2011 Is there anything else to do in Belize besides Cave Tubing???
tuxjamie Posted April 26, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2011 Besides cave tubing we also went on an atv ride, and zip linning. both were great. The best part was our group all wanted to do different things and we hooked up with cave-tubing.com and some went to atv others to zip lining and others to cave tubing and some did two out of the three. The nice thing was we were all able to ride together and have lunch together. made for a fun day.
Will in sunny FL Posted April 26, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2011 If you like snorkeling, this might be your best stop as the big reef is right off of Caye Caulker. Look up on Google, Coral breeze Tours for all of their options & info. Enjoy Belize. Bill in FL
Toyz711 Posted April 26, 2011 #4 Share Posted April 26, 2011 the area has some of the best mayan ruins around. they are a long day's tour, but well worth it. check out the threads about lamanai.

missmay80 Posted April 26, 2011 #6 Share Posted April 26, 2011 We took an excursion this month that was AMAZING! We booked it through Hammerhead Water Sports and we met our excursion right at the pier terminal. Our boat left from the terminal in front of the Wet Lizard, and headed out to Caye Caulker. The first part of the tour was the snorkel adventure and it was AWESOME! We have done several snorkel tours in different ports, but this was by far the most amazing. Think...Finding Nemo multiplied by about 100. We saw everything from cowfish to a moray eel. The reef was just beautiful, and there were several guides in the water with us. Then we went to the sandbar to swim with the stingrays and nurse sharks. This was very cool. They started coming towards us when they heard the boat, and were very eager to see us. Then we went over to Caye Caulker for lunch and some time on our own. The small island was great. I would do this tour again if we ever go back to Belize. We were a little nervous because people had told us horror stories about Belize and we had read some things that made us nervous. My husband and I loved every minute of our day.
