What are roll calls?

I just booked our cruise for May of next year (Liberty Western Caribbean) and was wondering about the roll calls I have heard people talk about. Can anyone join in? How do you find if there is one for your sailing?

Anyone can join in. It can be lots of fun getting to know others on your sailing.

just check the roll calls section of the board and find your cruiseline and ship. If there's a thread started with your sailing date, join in! If not, start one! It's a great way to meet people sailing with you. Good luck!

Under Roll Calls on the main page here, you will find listings for Carnival. go into there and scroll down to your ship, then look for your sail date. The rolls are made up of people who are sailing on your cruise. It is a good place to meet and chat with people, share information and get help. Just go into the thread and say hello. There seem to be threads for all, or almost all sailings.
