GREG Posted March 14, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2005 Hi I saw an exursion to Atlantis resort in the Bahamas Are you allowed to use the pool/beach at the resort? Thanks Greg
scubagirrl Posted March 14, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2005 The Historic Tour with Atlantis is just a tour of the indoor aquariums. No access to outside at all. The Beach Break allows you access to the beach, but NOT the pools, s slides, lazy river etc. You will be escorted to a reserved area on the beach. Here's the notice that's posted on the RCCL site. Important Note: The use of the swimming pools, water slides, pool deck and pool lounge chairs are restricted for use by hotel guests only.
jskcak Posted March 15, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2005 if you want to take advantage of the entire Atlantis resoort you can contact Comfort Suites and depending on avaialabilty you can get the lest expensive room (NOT a "day" room it is actually a room for a night but of course you won't be using it like that...) max. number per room is 4 and they give you the arm bands and towels and full access to teh Atlantis resort. You should check-in and check out all at once. When you check in your room won't be ready and chances are you won't use it but we got a rate for 4 at less than $200 and the tour through RCCl to see the Digs, etc. would have not been much less. THe rooms go quickly though. I understand if it isn't a busy time of the year you can do the same with a room at Atlantis - you will probably pay more. It just depends on how much you think you will use the slides, pool, beach, etc. if it is worth it
