Having Second Thoughts about Sand Castle...

St. Croix is our last stop on our Southern cruise next month and we know we want this to be a beach day so we can "recover" from the port intensive itinerary.

 

Sand Castle is close and cheap, but are there any other options near the pier?

If you walk to the end of the pier and meander left - walking along the beach - you will come to a little beach bar called Coconuts. I think this is the closest beach bar - water shoes are helpful if you go in - good snorkeling - free chairs. Lots of sea glass the day we were there. Some friends went to Sandcastle and said it was very nice.

I'm back from my cruise and I did go to Sandcastle and it was lovely! Lots of sea glass, crystyal clear water and beautiful scenery!
