April-in-NC Posted May 11, 2011 #1 Share Posted May 11, 2011 St. Croix is our last stop on our Southern cruise next month and we know we want this to be a beach day so we can "recover" from the port intensive itinerary. Sand Castle is close and cheap, but are there any other options near the pier?
sadie8 Posted May 11, 2011 #2 Share Posted May 11, 2011 If you walk to the end of the pier and meander left - walking along the beach - you will come to a little beach bar called Coconuts. I think this is the closest beach bar - water shoes are helpful if you go in - good snorkeling - free chairs. Lots of sea glass the day we were there. Some friends went to Sandcastle and said it was very nice.
