We did this excursion last week while in town on the Conquest. Let me say that it was probaly one of the top 5 i have ever done. It was a wonderful cultural experience and worth the price. It was cool learning how to prepare fresh conch, and local cuisine. You will prepare and make conch fritters, fried conch, conch salad (similar to a pico de gallo), and pot of peas and rice. He alsos shows how to make a coconut dessert using fresh coconut. He made some sort of coconut milk and gin concoction too, and the chef, sorry i dont remember his name, but he was a wonderful person. I walked away thinking, man if everbody in the world was like this, what a great place to live it would be!!! You will definately enjoy this one! Oh, and you will get a couple hours of beach time also!
