port liberty sounds a bit confusing?

leaving on Saturday out of Bayonne and we are driving and parking--can someone please explain exactly what to do such as where to drop luggage off etc. I just read a review which stated it was not organized and my hubby and i get lost real easy!!!!!thanks ;)

It doesn't appear organized sometimes, but there is no chance of actually getting lost once you are in the port. The terminal is at the end of a peninsula about 1 1/2 - 2 miles from the turn at route 440. Just follow the crowd. The end of the road is a giant loop. You circle around the loop and pull in to drop off your luggage. Then you continue on and make a left and another left between the buildings to come back into the center of the loop where the parking is. You prepay the parking, find a space, and walk back to the terminal. If you want to be parked a little closer to the terminal, go into the first parking area and make a left in the middle. You will see a break in the fence where you can cross the inbound road to the parking on the other side of the road (there's a traffic guy to help you do this). The advantage to this is that when you disembark, your car is on the same side of the road as the terminal.
