springtxbill Posted March 17, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2005 Carnival and RCCL are almost run the same. One difference is that RCCL you can get cash in the casino charged to your Seapass without a fee. :)
shipknotshore Posted March 17, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2005 I've never been on a Carnival cruise so I can't tell you first hand about the differences. You will have to pay for alcohol drinks, sodas, specialty restaurants/coffee/ice cream, gifts, spa treatments, tips. Plan on spending $5.00 and up for alcohol drinks. You can purchase a soda card when you board the ship which is good for unlimited sodas throughout the cruise. When you check in you make arrangements for your seapass account. If you want to put $$ towards your account in advance call RCCL and make arrangements with them on how to do it. Don't know what your question about the casino would be - but you need cash, cash, & more cash...:p Happy cruising.
