Toast1412 Posted May 31, 2011 #1 Share Posted May 31, 2011 We have booked an excursion through cave-tubing.com. We have never done anything like this before. I have read the tour guides are wonderful. Are we supposed to tip them we the tour is finished? I just want to make sure we are doing the correct thing. I will be tipping the group leader (and bus driver) when go
MissDiva1 Posted May 31, 2011 #3 Share Posted May 31, 2011 At the end of the tour while on the bus they will collect everyones money for the tour. Then they come around with a tip jar. Another reason I liked this tour is that we didn't even pay until the tour was over.......we had a blast!
Leon Walter Posted May 31, 2011 #4 Share Posted May 31, 2011 Yep, They give you the opportunity to tip at the end of the trip. One tip gets distributed to all involved. dot-com does their best to make things easy.
shellgoodman Posted May 31, 2011 #5 Share Posted May 31, 2011 We went last year with our two girls. Tour guide on the bus was wonderful and she even led boats through the river. In fact, all the guides work hard dragging us through the river with "butts up". For us the trip was a bit mellow. I guess we expected more like a low key white water rafting trip which it was not. We had a good time and definitely tipped. These people worked hard!
