San Juan beaches

If you just want the beach, and not use of the hotel facilities, all the beaches are public and the hotels will let you in if you want to eat at their restaurant (and then you can use the bathroom). You can go to Playita (by Condado Plaza), or the Isla Verde beach area (behind El San Juan hotel). There is usually food/drinks available right there, Playita has a rinse shower too).

If you want to use the hotel facilities also (pool, showers etc),you need to find a place that offers a day pass- do a search on CC). It is not cheap though.

Not a hotel beach, but you can also go to Escambron beach, which has showers, bathrooms and a food concession. This is a balneario (so it has lifeguards and they monitor water quality). Right before you exit OSJ on the north shore.
