cruisy-suzy Posted June 1, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 1, 2011 We will be in Belize in June and doing the Goff's Caye CCL excursion. I am curious if they allow you to use sunscreen, if not we'll need to take t-shirts to put over our suits when in the water. Thanks!

cruisy-suzy Posted June 2, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted June 2, 2011 Thanks for the advice! I plan to, but wanted to be prepared if for some reason we were advised not to.
smilz Posted June 3, 2011 #4 Share Posted June 3, 2011 If you are planning to snorkel, avoid sunscreen on your face. It really prevents you from getting an optimal seal around your mask. That being said, the sun is STRONG in Belize and reflects off the water. Be careful on the boat trip out though. Before you enter the water, apply lots of sunscreen to your arms, back and back of your legs (for obvious reasons) Enjoy! We will be there in 2 weeks.:D
