Handicapped access

My wife has a 3 wheeled scooter. It is able to go off-pavement but obviously not good in sand. Is she going to be able to get around in the town? She can walk for short distances so we think we may be able to do a snorkle excursion, but we would also like to go to the village and visit the school etc.

The main street is not paved but pretty hard packed, if it has not rained. I would think she could make it. If they can put the scooter on the van that takes you into the village. There are also taxies in town near where they let you off.
