casino at sea question to you gamblers?

My casino at sea card is bronze and it entitles me to the same perks as before, discounts, cards in the cabin on arrival, no need to see the hostess for final count as it is automatically tallied but it also entitles me to one pack of cigarettes a day from the bar in the casino. Marlbaro brands only. Any other comps are at the discression of the executive hostess.

I have no idea what amount of gaming it took to get me there. However, I am not sure I want to know.

That is so funny, but I can relate :D

Brain won't let me recall the exact numbers this morning, but I *think* it was somewhere around 8000 points in a year to move up from Purple to Bronze, 40,000 points in year for Gold, no idea about Platinum.. I am consistently Bronze, and always get a free dinner in a specialty restaurant, whether wine is included or not is dependant on the casino host/manager - plus the benefits EileenN stated above. For Gold and higher, they will waive the 3% fee for obtaining cash against your on board account. 40K points = $200K slot run-thru, and I haven't hit that in a year yet - closest I have come is about 30K...

Oh good I'm back in the game again, I was beginning to worry when I seemed to be the only one with purple and I wasn't in the OPs color scheme :D

Gee :( and I was so close to Bronze. No fair Robin you cruise at least twice a year :D :D

I have given up most land-casino trips in favor of cruising, so that clears my time and $$$ to cruise more :D and so far it is great! What bothers me is the gap between Bronze and Plat - I think it's too much of a jump - I can only imagine what the Plat requirements are  - maybe (pure speculation) 100K points in a year???.

Well I don't ever expect to be past purple because of the limited amount of time we have to travel right now. We cannot guarantee having more than a day or two off in a 1-3 year span. But I'm satisfied with where I am as long as they continue to comp me a cabin.

You're right that is a tremendous jump in requirements.
