Scants Posted March 18, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2005 We are taking our first cruise in May and I would like to know if there are any special items I should pick up for souviners in Cozumel (something people always buy in Cozumel)? As well any restaurants we should go to?
adatappstate Posted March 18, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 18, 2005 Mexican blankets, hot sauce (3x is the hottest...it only takes about 5 drops for a bowl of chili to spice it up!), silver jewelry, and sombreros are a few that I can think of! ScubaMare Posted March 18, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 18, 2005 Vanilla is always a must. If you want something unique from Cozumel and you're on the square at night there are artists there and their work is very neat. Blankets. Hammocks. Restaurants (not in any order): Tony Rome's Embassy Restaurant (ribs, steak, seafood, YUM) La Choza (Food of the Yucetan region of Mexico) Casa Denis (Mexican) Guido's (Italian) Villa Dorado (Mexican) La Mission (near La Choza; not to be confused with Casa Mission) Ernestos (fajitas) Mesa 17 (very new with great reviews) Especias That's all I can think of at the moment.
