Newer ships & different ports for Galveston

I wonder if the Celebrity ship is a newer ship? That would be cool.

Why? Some cruiselines sail Hawaii as a round trip...and I believe there are some cruises that are going as far south as BVI and I think Barbados from NYC. It can be done...now will they do it?

 

I think part of the problem is that they always try to include Cozumel into the itinerary...I suppose they could even do that and still hit USVI if they left out GC and Jamaica on a 7 day.

 

...as for the ports, the previous poster is right... other than doing a longer-than-seven day sailing, Galveston's location is tough to do much more than a Western..
