Long Beach Hilton

A review I read that was about a year old mentioned staying at the Long Beach Hilton and getting a very good rate ($95/nite last year) plus getting free parking at the hotel for up to seven nights and shuttle transportation to the Long Beach cruise terminal by providing a special "Carnival code."

Does anyone know if this program still exists at the Long Beach Hilton, and, if so, how to access it?

Hotel Maya is the Double tree Hilton you are referring too, the code should be 0560018220 and you have to enter it as a Corp code in the website. We just stayed there on the 25th prior to sailing. The hotel was great, quite nice for the price. Right on the water, nice pool area, we had dinner and drinks there too. Met a couple and another family who lived in the area and were having a weekend stay cation there.

We were very happy with the hotel and don't forget to ask for the cookies:)

At this point the Hotel Maya will only accept the Corporate Code until mid December 2011. Hopefully they will extend their contract with Carnival (as I will be sailing April 2012!!). If not, there is the Hotel Current, which also offers free parking for the week, shuttle to-and-from the ship, and free breakfast.

The Hilton/Carnival park and cruise package used to be at the Long Beach Hilton. After the Hotel Maya became a Doubletree (part of the Hilton family), it switched to it.

Hotel Maya is a little isolated and you will need to take your car or the free Passport shuttle into the downtown area if you don't want to eat at the hotel.

Hotel Current is on the far eastern side of Long Beach. Backs onto one of the priciest areas of Long Beach (Park Estates). However, without a car, your dining options are limited.

Thanks to all to responded to my inquiry, and a special thanks to Fun Flanagans for providing the Carnival Corporate Code needed to access this package plan.

We are also considering using the Comfort Inn & Suites located at 200 Willow in Long Beach...they offer up to 10 nights free parking along with transportation to and from the Long Beach cruise terminal plus "hot breakfast."

If anyone has recent experience (positive or negative) with this location and service, would be interested in your thoughts.
