Toys for babies on RCI

I have read that RCI has toys to loan for small children. Has anybody used this? What types of toys were did you get?

We did this with our one year old in April. You just go to the kids club and they will send you with a bag of Fisher Price toys.

 

They were well loved and you could go exchange them as often as you like. All were hard surface toys so that they can be easily sanitized.

 

We didn't go overboard, but we brought quite a few of our favorite toys from home and this turned out to be a lifesaver since the one year old ended up getting an ear infection during the cruise. Luckily we were prepared for this since she had basically had one long ear infection from December through June. Our Dr. sent us with antibiotic just in case and we asked the pharmacy to not mix it, that way it wasn't wasted if we didn't end up needing it. Now, we have tubes in our ears and life is much better!!!!!

We took a bag of toys on loan on enchantment, all in good order and they sorted out a bag according to our sons age and interests (boys vs girls toys basically). He got a fire engine, a ball, some craft materials, couple of books, some cars and toy animals. And as was said previously, if they had another bag in stock you could exchange for different toys.

Make sure and check out the other tots activities too like playgroup and crayola time!

I don't know if other cruise lines do this or not, but they should. Very little overall investment on behalf of the cruise line, but it makes parents of little one's so happy.
