DEBnGAB Posted July 19, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 19, 2011 Has anyone rented a golf cart from Nathans and drove out to the lighthouse on Grand Turk? Or to other spots around the island? I am trying to get an idea of how long it would take to hit some of the points of interest around the island. We wanted to hit Jacks Shack for lunch and drinks too but we are only in port from 7am-2:30pm. Thanks for any insight!! *Edit: I also posted this on the Grand Turk board..not much response. We are also booked for a golf cart with Nathan. I have read on previous reviews that you spend about 3 hours touring the island. We plan to get to Nathans early, maybe by 8, and that leaves plenty of time for lunch at Jack's Shack as we have planned too! Gonna be fun. F22Smitty Posted July 19, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 19, 2011 We rented a golf cart from Nathan last Oct. and had a blast. I think we saw everything you could see in about 3.5 hrs. The island is only 7 miles long by 3 or 4 miles wide (I think):D. Have fun.
DEBnGAB Posted July 19, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted July 19, 2011 Thanks guys!! So if we roll our butts out of bed when we pull into port, sounds like we can get a few hours in with the cart and be back in time to spend a few hours at Jacks.
