Local time vs ship time

Can a local in Cozumel please tell me if Cozumel is on CST and DST? We will be cruising out of Mobile so ship should be on local time, which is CST. Also we are leaving the weekend that DST starts. I don't know if the ship will observe this or not?

We are on Central time and do observe the time change. I can't imagine that the ship wouldn't.

Yes, as are the other ports close by... Costa Maya, Calica, Cancun and Progresso.

It's CST also. I would think ship time and island time would be the same.
