FLL Airport Suites

We will be staying at FLL in June - 5 adults. I've tried going through Priceline and booking 2 rooms and so far no luck, so plan B might be booking a 1 room suite at a hotel near the airport. Holiday Inn Express has the best rate, but I read not-so-good comments in a thread here, although Tripadvisor gives it good ratings. Other choices seem to be Springhill Suites and Comfort Suites but they are about $30 higher.

I guess I'm looking for input about these hotels and suggestions for other choices.
