Urgent! Destiny Question!

Hi Crazi... I notice you have posted this several times and I'm sorry you are not getting exactly what you are looking for. As others have stated, you may or may not hear the noise. The night owl rooms have the best pricing, so you get what you pay for... if you are concerned, and if you go to bed early and are a light sleeper... I would not book a night owl room... You may have people tell you that they heard nothing and it didn't bother them... will you have that same experience? Maybe, maybe not... different strokes... some people feel it is worth the savings. If you are going to be out late, go for it!!!! If you are bothered by noise, which it sounds like you are starting to panic about, I would definitely suggest a "non night owl" cabin... good luck!

  • 2 years later...

I had booked a niteowl room last year, then decided to pay alittle more for a 1A-from what others reported, it wasn't the noise so much, as the thump, thump, thump of the bass till the wee hours of the night. If one is a (very) late night person, it may not be an issue. I didn't want to take any chances, as the cruise was port intensive, and I wanted to make sure I was rested for all the excursions I booked. (My cruise was this past Dec.)

Destiny is the only ship in the Carnival fleet that has the niteowl rooms. (Someone will correct me, if I'm wrong!) The rooms-6284,88,92,96,6300,09,15,19,23,and 27-are directly above the Point After Dance Club....=THUMP,THUMP,THUMP:eek:

I think you were asking this question a couple of years ago about the Destiny as well- maybe I'm crazy!! At least the slide is open, huh? :)

I would go into the Main Destiny Cruisers thread and do a "Search this Thread" and insert just your cabin number. Any posts related to you cabin number will come up in the search and hopefully you'll be able to find your answer.

Good Luck!
