NEOPHYTUS Posted July 26, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 26, 2011 Seabourn launched a One Week Sale, July 25-August 1 on their web site today. Came across the following on some of the cruises offered: /Special Offer: Complimentary Upgrade to Veranda Suite, subject to availability.?/ Have any long term loyalists come across this before or is this a new marketing tool as a result of the new HAL management trying to drive bookings on poorly subscribed itineraries ? joysav Posted July 27, 2011 #7 Share Posted July 27, 2011 No, It's called Yield Management! Rubbish : It is unfortunately desperation and slightly dishonest . :o
xplrcrzn Posted July 27, 2011 #8 Share Posted July 27, 2011 It's the result of building too many big luxury ships in a very bad economy.
