TravelingAnn Posted July 29, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2011 Does anyone have any advice for getting a tour to Giverny for 8? The Oceania price $135 for half-day seems steep. Thanks
moyaroo Posted July 29, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2011 You can take the train to Vernon and then get a cab to Giverny (train is 10.60 euro each way for second class which is class enough for a 40 minute ride.)
Prairie_Gal Posted July 30, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 30, 2011 There are also shuttle buses from the train station to Giverny. Have a look at this site for information. http://giverny.org/ I loved Giverny. Seeing the water lily pond was just beautiful, and brought to life all those beautiful Money paintings. What month are you going? If you want a tour, just google Giverny tours Rouen and I'm sure you will come up with something.

Funny, I had searched the Giverny site before but didn't go back to see about transportation! So thanks for the link.
