ikajus Posted March 23, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2005 I'll be on the Star on the Mexican Riviera Itinerary. Does the time onboard match the local time in Mexico?
ron46936 Posted March 23, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 23, 2005 On our recent cruise the time aboard was adjusted to US Mountain Time which is one hour ahead of LA (Pacific Time). Local time in Mexico was US Central time and thus one hour ahead of ship's time and two hours ahead of LA. Daylight savings time will kick in soon which may change the above. Be sure and keep ship's time ashore so you get aboard on time.
hav2travel Posted March 23, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 23, 2005 No, The time in LA is on Pacific time. During your cruise to the Mexican Riviera you will enter a couple a different time zones, Mountain 1 Hr ahead of Pacific time & Central time 2 Hrs ahead of pacific time. smeyer418 Posted March 24, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 24, 2005 If the ship changes time, it will be announced in the daily Latitutes. They also sometime put a seperate card on your bed telling you the time will change. They are very good about reminding you what time it is...
