brovan1 Posted July 31, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2011 We are traveling on the Carnival Victory 11/20/11. Noticed a couple excursions through the cruise ship-5 star catamaran turtle swim and snorkel or Tiami catamaran turtle snorkel. Does anyone know the difference between the two. We would like to go on a catamaran swim with the turtles and have some beach time. Can anyone recommend a tour for this. Not sure if it's best to go through cruise line or through another company. Previous cruises we've gone through the cruise line, but many of the tour companies seem to cater to cruise passengers to ensure they get back to the ship in time. Thanks for the info ahead of time! SaucyWench Posted August 28, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2011 My DH and I are considering those two same excursions from Carnival. We'll be sailing right before you. Have you found anything interesting in your research on the two?
nianticcruisers Posted September 10, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 10, 2011 my wife and i have visited Barbados many time on several cruises and we have done the Tiami 5 star cat tour 3 times. Its awesome not alot of beach time but a great ride out to the turtles and an awesome lunch is provided. No paper and plastic on this trip. china and real silverware is used for the meal. very impressive. and the all you can drink open bar and rum punch is awesome. we will be in barbados again in April 2011 and plan on doing this trip again! enjoy!
