Indonesia tours Oct 2011????

We are on the Silver Shadow Singapore to Singapore and all ports will be in Indonesia. Any recommendations on tours in Bali, Jakarta, Probolinggo, Semarang, Limbar,Lombok????

The excursion to Borobadur, from the port of Semarang, is THE star of this cruise. We prefer the overnight trip to Yogakarta which includes a visit to the fabulous Borobadur Buddhist temple over the 9 hour day trip. Either way, this will be an excursion you'll always remember. We were there about 20 years ago and are very excited about being there again.

 

Where are you staying in Singapore? We'll be at the Ritz. The art collection there is wonderful. If you've never been to Singapore, I suggest a visit to the small, select Asian Civilization Museum. It is a gem..with a scenic cafe and a really nice gift shop.

We have not made are arrangements yet but I think we will be at the Conrad Hilton on the 15th and the 16th. We are airline people and will probably go on stand by to Singapore on the 14th.
