Fun in the Sun Carnival Excursion

Would someone please help clear up something about this Carnival Excursion?! My DH (who is truly a wonderful man) is quite hesitant to consider the "Fun in the Sun" excursion offered by Carnival in Barbados because of the following line in the description: "...you will be welcomed upon arrival... and given an orientation of the facilities". My DH heard this and believes it to mean "you will be welcomed upon arrival... and given a time-share presentation from which you cannot escape". Can anyone who has been on this excursion please help?

I seriously doubt Carnival would promote a time share.

 

They will take you to the Cockspur Beach Club, which was the Old Malibu Beach Club, now renovated in Brighton Beach a mile or so north of Deep Water Harbour.

 

They just want to show you the property in the hope that you'll return for a stay. My guess is a 15 minute tour, if that, and no hard sell.

 

Your husband shouldn't worry, I think you will have a grand time. It's a nice spot and a nice beach!
