Connecting rooms for OBC?

Ok, we are currently on ES rate and the Pack N Go rate is lower. Carnival has agreed to change us to the pack n go and give us the difference if we switch to guarantee. The rooms that are left are all connecting and we're going with friends. There is one set of connecting together, so there's a chance we may get them. We'd get $120 OBC for switching to this..

Is the possibility of getting a connecting with someone we don't know worth $120?

Thanks Flounder.. our friends were kinda concerned about not being next to each other, but we're so close to sailing and there are only a few rooms left on Riviera and Main so I have a feeling we'll end up still close to each other!

Does the room look any different or is it any noisier to have a connecting?

Yay, this is the biggest price drop we've had :)
