Host Caroline Posted August 28, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2011 There are a lot of opinions here on the board if you read thru some of the recent threads.. You need to determine what kind of coverage you need (good medical evac is a must IMHO), when to buy based on any preexisting conditions, etc., whether you need primary or secondary coverage.... If you go to insuremytrip.com you can compare diff. policies by diff. companies, cost of coverage etc. Your question is so broad that it's really impossible to answer....
cruiseco Posted August 28, 2011 #3 Share Posted August 28, 2011 looking to buy some travel insurance.. whats the best one to go with? You can find fans of every major insurer out there. And there are travelers who think they've had rotten experiences with every insurer out there. For those in the second group it's usually because they didn't do their homework and went with a recommendation from Cousin Fred or some stranger who has no idea what their needs are. You're either going to have to do your own homework or CALL someone at any other major online comparison sites and have a professional walk you through it.
