Water and soda on Allure

Recommended Posts

We have always brought water and soda on our cruises and I am sure this has been beaten to death. We do buy the soda cards but enjoy a diet coke while we are getting ready. Has anyone had any issues bringing on a case of soda or water onboard the Allure of the Seas. Would it be better to put it in checked baggage? Do they xray checked baggage? We will be in Ft. Lauderdale 2 days prior to embarkation.

Just did this on the oasis. Bought a 24 pack of diet dr pepper, taped it with clear two inch packing tape, just to make it stronger. Placed a luggage tag on it with a note that said I had purchased the soda package ( I'm sure they didn't even read it), and checked it with the porters. (gave them a twenty) I don't know if that made any difference either! Needless to say it made it to our room. Next time I'm taking a twelve pack!! Happy sailing!!!
