(He will by the way) but it is only a $50 risk to book it now before Nov. 1st and not have to pay the whole $500 deposit. After Nov. 1st you will have to do that. plus the rates are likely to go up, because it is a NEW ship. Really girl, you are going to love these peeps and want to be on this one with all of us... And I know you will want to be the Nachi Cocom Director... You have done such a great job for the Looneys Take a $50 chance on us you wont regret it!!!! She was very happy to hear that I uderstood that she was very busy right now, so everyone, just be patient. Asa has family in League City, so we may end up staying there, but I will see if we can just go ahead and stay at the hotel the night before. That is so much easier. Just read the paper that travel agents are checking out southern NM for visitors to the spaceport. I can't believe how many tickets they have sold for those flights. We haven't stayed in Galveston yet. The first time we cruised we discovered something called Dickens on the Strand (or something like it).. no rooms available (at least in our price range). At least that is what I understand is going to happen. so what if I can't see my booking # on CCL untill Aug 2011 I can deal with that... I just wanted to make sure you knew what I was trying to say...Don't want to make you join, just the benefits of joining before Nov. And you can always post even if you never make it on the cruise. We just can't swing that right now unfortunately. 25 yes, 225pp no. :( Mimi - you can pay the $25 pp reduced deposit up until Nov 1 and then you have until Aug 29, 2011 to pay the full deposit and Nov 13, 2011 for final payment. AFTER Nov 1 you will have to pay the full deposit, but until then you can book the cruise with the $25pp. You won't get a booking number until the full deposit is made, but you really don't need one anyway. Remember you only need the $25 to book under the reduced deposit and have until Aug 29, 2011 to come up with the remaining deposit (of $225). I hope I cleared that up, and you can now email or call Johna and book. So, can I put ya'll down as SMDer's? Em -No, I don't think we are going to have ANY fun at all... I think this is going to be the MOST boring cruise EVER... Lol ;) Somehow with you and Jerod on board, I find that hard to believe. Now I see why everybody is booking this deal! I thought that you could book now for 25pp but have to cough up the remaining 225 pp ON Nov. 1st of this year. Ok, so for 50 dollars Andy and I can reserve a spot and then have until Aug 2011 to pay the first deposit. We are still scared of every dollar with the wedding etc. still need plane tickets for the Looney trip... could you please answer this question?: What happens if we have to cancel? We lose the 50 dollars? Can that be applied to a future cruise instead? I really want us to book this, but must know of every single small print detail. Thank you friends! As long as that is the norm, and not some special favor, then we are in! Andy agrees. We MUST wait until Nov 1st paycheck (which will arrive Oct. 29th)... great company that doesn't pay you over the weekend if the paycheck is due on the weekend, they pay you prior to that date... Anyway, we will contact Johnna in the next week and get this booked. I am just worried about where we may be living in Feb. 2012 and may have to change plans. I doubt it would really affect our vacation choices, but still, why throw money away today? THANK YOU SO MUCH FRIENDS FOR CLEARING UP THE CONFUSION! Now, the next question, can we book an interior room, and then upgrade later at the same advertised prices via this group cruise later on? (assuming availability still exists). Thank you!
