Oh no............we have waited far to long for the Mateys cruise not to have great weather.....:eek::eek:

Need to check the 30 day forecast for our port to see what might be happening while we are there....

So, earlier today I had an assignment to photograph Capt. Stubing from Love Boat on board the Golden Princess in San Pedro and I thought about ya'll. I wasn't impressed with that ship though. Anyways, thought i'd share a few of my pictures.

No. They kept us corralled on the fan tail deck and as soon as the photo op was over they promptly escorted us off. From what I did see of the ship it looked a little tired.

Janet - I have heard that saying, but the way you put it out there I thought that something had happened with the Matey's cruise. Nothing but great weather ahead for the Matey's cruise:D.

Good morning, SMDers!

Happy Thursday to all. Another beautiful day here in Lady Lake with the temps close to 80. We had a cold front move thru.:D However, it is windy and they say we may get some of the smoke from the massive wild fire around I95. So far it only has gotten as far as Orlando but with this wind by the afternoon it may be here. Those poor firemen have been working so hard to try and get it under control.

I had a horrid scare last night. My 22 year old DGS with CP had a large seizure last night that lasted about 7 mins. On top of that while the ambulance was on the way he stopped breathing. Finally at 2:00 this morning they figured out that he did not take his meds in the morning. Ever since he turned 21 he wants to do everything himself. My DS called and was frantic telling me that he was behind the ambulance. I prayed for hours that everything would be alright and it finally was. I am so happy that he will be going to a school on the 21st for the 9 months to teach him what he needs to know about taking care of himself properly.

Went to the store yesterday and got that going and today I got my Virginia State income tax refund in the bank. YEA! Party time. Our last state tax refund as Florida does not have state tax.

Well off to pick up the furbabies food at the vet which is $71 a month.:eek:

Good afternoon SMDers! Hi Rich, Hi Cathy. Enjoyed the pix Jerod. Glad to hear some of you are getting nice weather, we just can't get a break here. We did have sun the last few days, but still very cold and windy. Now tonite it will warm up a bit to above freezing, but with it will come freezing rain and ice. Enough! it's March, usually we have a few days that are sorta nice by now! LOL!!

But I guess I should look on the bright side- a year ago this week I was in the hospital after my jellyfish encounter. AND, two weeks from today we are leaving for Floriday, and will cruise in 17 days!!! I just have to hang in there til then:) Everyone is cranky at work getting ready for *eek!* accreditation. It's a good time to get away. Better get back to work now!
