DEBnGAB Posted August 30, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2011 I've got DD her and friend on my S&S account...I just finished up our Funpasses, etc. Should the luggage tags and Funpass for my DD and her friend also say VIP? I just took a look and they dont say VIP. No big deal but just want to make sure I dont have any issues bringing them through. Thanks! Edit: I am Platinum. kujobie Posted August 30, 2011 #9 Share Posted August 30, 2011 It doesn't matter. If she is a minor, she will be able to check in with you. What the luggage tag says doesn't matter either. All bags are treated equally.
nancydee Posted August 30, 2011 #10 Share Posted August 30, 2011 If she is a minor (under 18 not 21 in this case) then YES she would board VIP with you - just make sure you tell them when you get to the port!:) Have a great trip!

I wouldn't worry about it. Worst case, the VIP check-in person would have to retieive their cards from the regular check in counter. That would take all of 30 seconds. Contact Carnival or your TA to get the issue addressed... :) Mach we do this on every cruise we take......no VIP was on our friends docs.......nor was it on the luggage tags.......and their sail and sign cards are together with ours......As long as their account is set up on your credit card.....and it doesn't even say that on the link you posted...... DEBnGAB Posted August 30, 2011 Author #23 Share Posted August 30, 2011 My PVP said she didnt think it would say VIP on the other cabins tags/pass but no problem having them go through VIP since they are on my CCD. Thanks everyone for your help! I just didnt want to have them stopped at the security line and them not able to go in with me. Guess I can just explain that they are on my card. Froufie Posted August 30, 2011 #25 Share Posted August 30, 2011 So if you put someone on your account and they board VIP with you - are you able to 'change' the credit card once onboard? :)....like just by visiting the purser's desk?
