Atlantis and Dolphin Encounter

We are going to the Atlantis on a NCL cruise in early December - would like to do the dolphin encounter and spend the day at the Atlantis - do you have to book both excursions?? Since the dolphin encounter is only an hour long, what do you do after that? Can you stay at the Atlantis for the day???

Went on a Carnival cruise this summer and went to Atlantis. Didn't do the dolphin encounter just the Aquaventure waterpark and booked it thru majestictoursbahamas.com. While at the waterpark I met some young girls and had done the dolphin encounter that morning and were just getting to the waterpark slides around 1 pm. Don't know what time their dolphin encounter was, but yes, there is a way to do both. If you are booking thru your cruiseline I would ask them to make sure.
