Scuba Diving in Nassau Sept 16th

My wife and I are taking a 3 day cruise on Carnival departing Port Canaveral on Thurs Sept 15th, arriving at port in Nassau at Noon on Fri Sept 16th. Departing Nassau at 6am on Sat Sept 17th and arriving back at Port Canaveral at 8am on Sun Sept 18th.

 

We want to go diving while in Nassau and the cruise doesn't offer an excursion. We arrive in port at Noon and have all afternoon/evening at port.

 

I'm looking for suggestions on independent companies we should book an afternoon dive through. We will need a guide as we have the PADI Scuba Diver certification, not the full open water.

 

Any suggestions/experiences are appreciated.

Unfortnately the timing is bad for Stuart Cove's as the dive pickup from the pier is 11:45 am. If you are really motivated, you might ask them if you could catch the 12:15 snorkel bus and still dive or you could take a taxi as soon as you dock and catch up with the divers at the shop.
