Boston tour at end of Jewel cruise

Recommended Posts

We've done this tour twice, once after our Canada/NE cruise and again last year after our Transatlantic. We did it for the convenience of being dropped at the airport and not having to worry about our luggage.

Each tour was completely different, with a few overlaps. The first one was a gray and drizzly day (September) and the second one was a gorgeous day in Boston (September again) with all the boats out on the Charles River and people out and about in the parks.

Well worth it, just for the luggage factor alone.

If you want to do Boston on your own, you can go to Rowes Wharf water taxi, store your luggage for free, and pay for water taxi transport over to Logan airport (it's about $10/pp). You would be able to set your own schedule and not be stuck on a bus (IMO not the best way to tour Boston).

From the water taxi pier at Logan you would have to take a free shuttle bus to your terminal, so you will need some capability of handling your luggage.
