Pre Cruise in Ft Lauderdale

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Has anyone ever stayed at the "Extended Stay Suites" and if so, how was it?

Coming into Florida later in the day prior to the cruise and did not want to spend moe than $100 for a room for less than 24 hours.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Kaboom, We did this last fall, during boat week. I suggest you look at biddingfir travel.c to see what they are getting on Priceline for your date. 3* was getting the Marriott Marina and 4 was getting the Renaissance. We had no luck because of our date, but I do see dates in April that are going for 60-85 dollars. Downtown and airport are good spots. We booked the Sleep Inn in Dania Beach for our overnight. It had a shuttle from the airport and to the pier and breakfast. Very close to the pier. Tfhere is also a Publix across the street to pick up stuff and wine etc and a 24 Walgreens across the parking lot. The beach is a mile away. Perfect spot, clean and new if you can't get a good Priceline rate. If you have any questions, ask away and have a great cruise. Beej
