Springhill Suites Tampa

If anyone is looking for a nice place to stay pre or post cruise I recommend the Springhill Suites. We stayed two nights before our cruise at $109 and one night after for $157. This was over springbreak/Easter week. They have really nice, big suites with a couch, chair and ottoman, desk & chair, two t.v.'s and a kitchenette. The breakfast was excellent with fruit and waffles, eggs, cereal ect. The pull-out was on the small size and not very comfy but the kids took turns and they did get a cruise afterward! They have a shuttle to the airport but not to the pier. I think the van/taxi was around $20.00. We had a car on the front end of the trip and National gave my husband a ride from the airport to the pier after he dropped us off. Ask at the desk if their Marriot shuttle is available to give you a ride to a restuarant. Its hit or miss and not advertised since its mainly used for an airport shuttle. If it drops you off somewhere you may have to taxi back. The pool was nice sized and heated which was nice since it was on the cool side when we were there.
