WANTED: NCL Gem Pin

Recommended Posts

Having collected lapel pins from all our NCL trips, we were slightly disappointed that there were none on our 09-11-11 Gem cruise. If anyone has 1 or 2 to they no longer need or want We would gladley buy them from you! You can respond here or email me at ruarmed2@yahoo.com. Thanks! Ron & Holly

I was on the 9/11/11 Gem cruise also and I asked Matt, the cruise consultant at the Latitudes party about the pins and what he told me is that the Gem has never had the pins as NCL stopped making them when the Gem went into service in 2007. He told me that the other ships had stockpiles of them which is why you can still find them on other ships...

While I don't doubt what your saying but if the other ships have stockpiles then why aren't they handing them out. Personally I could care less because we don't collect but I know a lot of folks do any every now and then this topic surfaces but it's the first I've heard they are stockpiled.

Don't take stockpiled literally, some ships just had a lot of extras. I got 2 on the dawn last year. I am just relaying what the cruise consultant told me.

I've been on the GEM 8 times and have always gotten my pins from the cruise consultants. We collect the pins, I gave away my extra pins earlier this year to CC members.

Well that settles that then. Have to say that it kinda sucks to be told something by someone who is supposed to know the facts only to find out it was not true...
