day light savings ???? leaving for san juan this saturday .........

leaving for San Juan this saturday for our first cruise and its the day light savings tht night too .............. do they do that down there and all the islands im stopping at ? i know its an hour difference anyway but now im really confused ! :)

If I remember correctly, when my stepson lived in St. Croix, they were an hour different from us until we went on Daylight Savings. Then we were the same time.

I was on Serenade in October during DST and we did not change our clocks at all until we were back home in Florida.

Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, and most (if not all) of the other island nations observed Atlantic Time, which is one hour ahead of Eastern Time. My experience has been that the islands don't usually "spring forward" with those of us on the mainland (excluding Arizona and parts of Indiana, of course).
