I would find it hard to believe that they would let a bottle of tequila go through. Not saying she is lying, but with the way Carnival is cracking down on smuggling I can't see this happening.

 

I've never tried it I've only brought on my bottles of wine.

8 of us took the 9/11 Miracle cruise out of NYC and we had 6 bottles of wine in a wine case. No one opened it. No one asked to see it. No one told me to take it out of the box.

 

Now, that may not be your past experience, and it may never happen that way again in the future, but I assure you, on that cruise, I could've brought 3 bottles of whiskey and 3 bottles of rum and no one would have cared.
