New Orleans ground transportation

We'll be flying in and staying at The New Orleans Courtyard Hotel on 1101 N Rampart St. There are eight of us. I have found it will be cheaper for us to get a van from a limo service on limos.com for the ride from the airport to the hotel.

 

My question is should I do this also for going to the port from the hotel and returning to the airport from the port. The quotes I'm getting are hourly rather than the flat rate to the hotel and are more than twice the price. How much would just taking cabs cost?

good question!! I'm kinda wondering the same thing. We are also 8 traveling in. I am looking at limos.com as well. I think the Van is the way to go as we will have prob lots of luggage.

Taxis from the hotel to the port should be $7pp flat rate.

 

Taxis from the port to the airport are the same cost as taxis from the airport to the port or to your hotel.

 

From the port to the airport would take two taxis for 8 people and these are the rates posted on the airport website:

looks like $112 for 8 people to the airport.
