Prepaid tips - refundable?

I have changed my dining assignment to Select and now I wonder if I have to increase the amount of travel insurance. The question is whether the prepaid tips are refundable if I cancel.

Yes. If you cancel your pre-paid gratuities would be refunded.

if you cancel the prepay it throws you out of select dining, plus I know if you prepay its tough to cancel...if its the auto tip added on your seapass you have the first 2 days to go to guest relations to have them removed, this applies to the auto tip added on to the seapass acct

I was talking about cancelling the cruise. I called Celebrity and they confirmed that the pre-paid gratuities and all taxes are refunded. I had always included the taxes in the total amount for travel insurance but I will not do that anymore.
